Dr. Chin was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She attended Seattle University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. She then continued on to Pacific University College of Optometry where she was the Class President and a Student Ambassador. She was given the Brian Lee Hill Memorial and Pacific University Alumni Association’s Outstanding Graduate Awards upon graduation.
During schooling, she completed rotations in different specialities including ocular disease and contact lens. After graduation, she moved back home to Hawaii and worked in a commercial practice setting as well as at a community health center. Dr. Chin feels honored and grateful to be able to give back to the community who has helped shape her into the person she is and hopes to establish long lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, trying new coffee shops, and exploring our beautiful state. She is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
